About LAFORGE

1972: Laforge is founded as a manufacturer of sugarbeet harvesting equipment in France.

1979: Laforge designs our first front 3-point system primarily for front mounting of defoliating equipment for sugar beets.

1984: Laforge comes under the management of Mr. Hubert Defrancq and the development of front 3-point systems and automatic control systems gets priority.

1986: manufacturing of sugarbeet equipment ceases.

1990: A new, state of the art 3,600 m2 (39000 sq. ft.) manufacturing plant is brought on-line in Guignicourt, France.

1992: Laforge receives The Agricultural Engineering AE50 Awards for "Outstanding innovations in product or systems technology" for an Automatic Position & Traction Control and for the GreenLink® 75 integrated front 3-point system for JOHN DEERE 7000-Series tractors.

1993: Laforge receives a Silver Medal from SIMA in France for the above designs.

1995: Laforge receives a joint AE50 Award with NEW HOLLAND for the SteerLink axle mounted front 3-point system on tractors with SuperSteer front axle. Laforge receives an AE50 Award for the GreenLink® 80i front 3-point system with Electronic Position & Traction Control with Weight Transfer for JOHN DEERE 8000-Series tractors. Laforge receives a prestigious Gold Medal from SIMA for the GreenLink® 80i front 3-point system with Electronic Position & Traction Control with Weight Transfer for JOHN DEERE 8000-Series tractors.

1997: Laforge receives a Recognition from SIMA for a traffic safety device to be mounted on front equipment during transport.

1998 : Alpha by LAFORGE is introduced as a low cost hitch series for applications other than heavy tillage or dozer blades.

2000: LAFORGE and JOHN DEERE sign an "Allied Suppliers Agreement" making LAFORGE the exclusive, worldwide supplier of front 3-point hitches for JOHN DEERE row crop tractors built in Waterloo, IA. This agreement takes effect immediately and includes tractors from 95 – 235 hp (PTO).

2001: LAFORGE signs OEM agreement to supply factory installed 3 points for JOHN DEERE 8020-Series tractors.

2003: LAFORGE extends the OEM agreement with JOHN DEERE to also include front hitch systems for the 7720, 7820, and 7920 tractors.

2004: Introduction of top-soilers UNIPASS and FLEXIPASS with Non-stop.
Homologation exclusive de LAFORGE en qualité d’équipement allié pour ces relevages avant sur les tracteurs JOHN DEERE 6020.

2005: Gold medal at SIMA show for the exclusive patented system: DynaContour (depth control).
Renewal of front hitches and front PTO ranges for CLAAS, CASE IH, JOHN DEERE, Mc CORMICK, MASSEY FERGUSON and NEW HOLLAND tractors.
The GL St 5.3 front hitch for JOHN DEERE 8030 ILS is available as a JOHN DEERE factory-installed unit.
All the LAFORGE front hitches for 8030 tractors are certified by JOHN DEERE.

2006: New 2-stages dozer blade, patented, with an unique design wich enables an unequalled approach angle which ensures the most efficient operation in the silage pit.

2007: New ballasting system: FLEXIMASS

2008: The DynaContour Ultima Pack is available for all tractor brands.
New front hitch for CHALLENGER track tractors.
Launch of a new innovative Electro-hydraulic front Power Take Off with modulated, multi-discs wet clutch, iso rotation, 3 gears: 6 splines / 540 rpm or 21 splines / 1000 rpm.
